Lexus Granito(down 4.92%), MOIL(down 0.80%),

Dvpt Corporation(down 0.55%) and Orissa Minerals Development Company(down 0.14%) were among the top losers of the day.

The NSE Nifty50 index ended 126.35 points up at 17665.8, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed up 442.65 points at 59245.98.

Hindalco Industries(up 3.47%), JSW Steel(up 3.11%), ITC(up 1.76%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(up 1.73%), NTPC(up 1.67%), Reliance Industries(up 1.55%), Larsen & Toubro(up 1.44%), Grasim Industries(up 1.35%), Tata Steel(up 1.33%) and HCL Technologies(up 1.25%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Bajaj Auto(down 1.84%), Nestle India(down 1.54%), Britannia Industries(down 1.12%), UltraTech Cement(down 0.84%),

Enterprises(down 0.69%), Eicher Motors(down 0.63%), Tata Motors(down 0.6%), Wipro(down 0.54%), Power Grid Corporation of India(down 0.36%) and HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(down 0.21%) closed in the red.
