& Fertilizers(down 2.02%), & Chemicals(down 1.93%), G S F C(down 1.38%), National Fertilizer(down 1.33%), & Fertilizers(down 1.21%) and & Petrochemicals(down 1.13%) were among the top losers of the day.

The NSE Nifty50 index ended 3.35 points down at 17539.45, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed up 36.74 points at 58803.33.

ITC(up 1.75%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 1.69%), HDFC(up 1.67%), Larsen & Toubro(up 1.44%), HDFC Bank(up 0.91%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(up 0.84%),

Enterprises(up 0.82%), Axis Bank(up 0.81%), NTPC(up 0.68%) and State Bank of India(up 0.64%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Bharat Petroleum Corporation(down 2.84%), Shree Cement(down 2.31%), Hero MotoCorp(down 1.79%), Hindalco Industries(down 1.67%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 1.45%), UPL Ltd(down 1.41%), Reliance Industries(down 1.17%), Maruti Suzuki(down 1.16%), Bajaj Auto(down 1.11%) and Tata Motors(down 1.1%) closed in the red.
