The NSE Nifty50 index ended 12.35 points up at 17576.3, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed up 104.25 points at 59307.15.

Axis Bank(up 9.03%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(up 2.1%), ICICI Bank(up 2.08%), Hindustan Unilever(up 2.04%), SBI Life(up 1.91%),

Enterprises(up 1.54%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(up 1.5%), Titan Company Ltd(up 1.3%), Nestle India(up 1.17%) and State Bank of India(up 0.98%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Bajaj Finance(down 3.22%), Bajaj Finserv(down 2.39%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(down 2.24%), Divis Laboratories(down 2.2%), UPL Ltd(down 1.86%), Asian Paints(down 1.54%), IndusInd Bank(down 1.53%), Larsen & Toubro(down 1.44%), Adani Enterprises(down 1.35%) and ITC(down 1.17%) closed in the red.
