NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included,
Speciality(20.0%), DC Infotech(19.97%), (19.97%), Ansal Buildwell(19.57%), Tips .(19.2%) and Bombay Wire Rope(17.52%).
The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 104.25 points up at 59307.15, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 12.35 points up at 17576.3.
In the Nifty50 index, 19 stocks closed in the green, while 31 stocks ended in the red.
Meanwhile, stocks such as
, Tips Films Ltd., , and Jayant . hit their fresh 52-week high, while Delhivery Ltd., , , . and Piramal Pharma Ltd. touched their new 52-week low in today’s trade.
