NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 212.88 points up at 59756.84 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, NMDC(down 20.19 per cent), Mafia Trends Ltd.(down 19.87 per cent), Gland Pharma(down 14.64 per cent), Digicontent(down 13.07 per cent) and Chennai Petro(down 12.04 per cent) stood among the top losers in today’s trade.

In the Nifty pack, 36 stocks closed in the green, while 13 stocks ended in the red.

The index closed 80.6 points up at 17736.95.

On the BSE,

, , FSN E-Comm(), Maagh Advertising And Marketing Services Ltd. and hit their fresh 52-week lows, while , Cargotrans Maritime Ltd., ., and touched their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade.
