Recently, a Hindi version of the song, sung by Yohani herself along with Jubin Nautiyal was released – the song which is part of the Sidharth Malhotra, Ajay Devgn starrer Thank God features Nora Fatehi. The song has gathered 109M views on YouTube and is amongst the top trending music videos right now. Sidharth, who plays the lead on Thank God says while the response to the song is heart-warming, it is not just an item number and has relevance to the story.
In an interview with News18, Sidharth said Manike is the main song of the film and that Nora plays an important character. He further says that he is relieved that he too has some steps to perform in the song, since the last time Nora and Sidharth got together for the song Ek Toh Kum Zindagani from the movie Marjaavaan (2019), he didn’t have much to do.
The fantasy comedy drama film Thank God has opened to mixed reviews. Along with Sidharth and Ajay, it stars Rakul Preet Singh in a key role.
