Team RRR is currently living it up in Japan as the film released in the Japanese theatres yesterday. Ram Charan gave us glimpses of their visit earlier on Instagram and now a video has surfaced on the internet in which we see Jr NTR interacting with fans who lined up to catch a glimpse of their favourite star. Many of his fans got overwhelmed on meeting him in person and broke down. Check out the video:
RRR has been a global sensation and has earned over Rs 1112 crore worldwide. The film was recently screened in the US for Academy members and will be competing at the Oscars in all categories including best motion picture (DVV Danaiah), best director (SS Rajamouli) and best actor (Jr NTR and Ram Charan) among others. It has also become a cult hit in the US since its release on OTT.
NTR landed in Japan on Wednesday to join Ram Charan and SS Rajamouli for RRR promotions. The film is a fictional story set in the 1920s pre-independent era, and is based on the lives of two revolutionaries – Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem.
