In one of the episodes of ‘Indian Matchmaking’ season two, the infamous matchmaker Sima Taparia talked about Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas as a pair. She said about the international couple, “I don’t feel it’s a good match. Sorry to tell that. They have married but it’s not a good match. He looks so small and petite in front of her and she looks elder.” However, this didn’t go well with the netizens.
Recently, in an interview, Sima Taparia gave clarification about her comment in the episode. She stated that it was a casual discussion that she was having with Nadia (her client in the show). She went on to add that everyone is entitled to do what they want and they are happy with it, she is happy for them and wishes them the best.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Priyanka will next feature in the web show ‘Citadel’ backed by Russo Brothers and Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Jee Le Zaraa’ with Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif.
