Black Adam collected Rs 4.75 crore nett on Day 2, reports Box Office India. The drop was higher in the South due to the new releases like Ginna, Ori Devuda, Sardar and Prince. The Hindi circuits witnessed lesser falls, and it remains to be seen how Thank God and Ram Setu affects the collections.
Black Adam now stands at a total collection of Rs 11.50 crore nett in two days. The film is expected to see a jump in circuits like Mumbai, Delhi/UP and South Mysore due to the extended weekend ahead.
Meanwhile on Thursday, Dwayne Johnson surprised his fans with his visit to a theatre on the opening night. Fans were heard screaming with joy as they witnessed Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson in front of them before the film.
‘Black Adam’ tells the origin story of the titular antihero, one of the most powerful metahumans of the DC universe. Dwayne Johnson portrays the strong anti-hero and sworn enemy of Shazam, who was played by Zachary Levi in a 2019 origin film and in the upcoming sequel, Shazam: Fury of the Gods, coming next year. The super-hero cast incorporates Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone and Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate.
